Reach forklift
The reach electric forklift is a type of warehouse truck. According to the operation mode, it can be divided into the seated reach type and the stand-up reach type. The reach forklift has a small lifting capacity and is often driven by an electric motor. The electric reach forklift has the characteristics of flexibility, easy operation, no pollution, and low noise. It combines the advantages of an electric stacker and a counterbalanced forklift. When the mast extends to the top, the center of gravity of the load falls on the outside of the fulcrum, which is equivalent to a counterbalanced forklift; when the mast is fully retracted, the center of gravity of the load falls on the inside of the fulcrum, which is equivalent to an electric stacker. The combination of these two properties ensures that the volume and deadweight will not increase much while ensuring operational flexibility and high load performance, which saves working space to the maximum extent and greatly improves the utilization rate of land. Therefore, it is suitable for light industry, tobacco, textiles, food, supermarkets and other industries to complete material handling and stacking operations in narrow spaces. It is one of the indispensable equipment for modern warehousing and one of the focus of competition among major forklift manufacturers in the world. So far, the maximum lifting height of reach forklifts can reach 13 meters abroad, while it can reach about 9 meters in China.
