When shifting gears or changing gears, you should relax the accelerator pedal (throttle) and wait for the oil to drain away, then step on the clutch pedal, quickly and correctly push or pull into the gear you want to shift into, and then release the clutch. When changing gears, do not push or pull hard to cause the gears to make a knocking sound.
Characteristics of hydraulic torque converters and gearboxes:

How to maintain the forklift gearbox?
(1) In order to ensure the service life of the mechanical components and sealing elements of the hydraulic control oil circuit, the normal pressure of the control oil circuit is 1.1/u1.4Mpa
(2) The working oil is 20# turbine oil (or 6# hydraulic transmission oil) or turbine oil. The operating oil temperature is 70-95~C. If it is greater than 95cC, the use time cannot be too long.
(3) When the forklift is driving and changing gears, the inching valve should be closed first before shifting gears; when braking, the inching valve must be closed before braking to prevent clutch damage or brake failure.
(4) The replacement and cleaning cycle of the oil filter should be within 50 hours for new vehicles, every 200 hours, 1200 hours thereafter, and every 600 hours for special environments.
