On the one hand, it can make the engine fully burn, reduce fuel consumption, reduce exhaust gas emissions, and reduce environmental pollution; on the other hand, it can prevent a large amount of sand, impurities, etc. from entering the cylinder, effectively preventing the piston and cylinder liner from wear, and extending the working life of the engine.

How often should the forklift air filter be replaced?

The replacement of the forklift air filter has a lot to do with the operating environment of the forklift, and depends on the amount of dust and sand inhaled by the air filter. Therefore, forklifts with more daily operations (such as daily use) and poor working environment are best replaced once a month. Forklifts that are not used frequently can be replaced slowly every three months.

Precautions for the use of forklift air filters:

It is strictly forbidden to clean or replace the air filter when the engine is running. When compressed air blows the filter, the flying dust will enter the eyes, so protective glasses should be worn. If oil, grease or carbon black sticks to the filter element, use a special cleaner for the filter element to remove it. In heavy-load working environments or conditions, the filter element should be cleaned and replaced more frequently. When cleaning, the filter element should be removed and dry compressed air with a pressure of 0.69MPA should be used to blow air from the inside of the filter element along the circumference. After blowing the filter element clean, reinstall it.

How to replace the air filter element of a forklift?

1. Make sure the forklift is parked, tighten the handbrake and turn off the engine.

2. Try to wear gloves when operating.

3. Open the engine hood of the forklift engine, open the three buckles on the air filter element housing, then take out the old filter element, replace the new air filter element, check that it is installed in place, then cover the housing, buckle the buckle to fix it.

4. Under normal circumstances, as long as the replacement process is correct, replacing the air filter element will not affect the warranty service of the forklift.

Where is the air filter element of the forklift?

Different engines are installed in different positions, but most forklift air filters are installed on the left or right side of the forklift engine, and can be seen by opening the hood of the forklift engine.
